Day 01 :- Bangalore Arrival in Bangalore. Welcome by our local representative and transfer to the hotel. |
Day 02 :- Bangalore / Somnathpura / Mysore: Start your trip to India with a departure for Mysore. On the way visit the ancient temples of Somnathpura. Settling in Mysore. Visit to the Mysore Palace. The palace of the Maharaja of Mysore is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in India. Its construction dates from 1912 when it was rebuilt on the ruins of the old palace (devastated by a fire in 1897). The work was managed by a British architect: Henry Irwin. Several styles were mixed, including Indo-Muslim, Oriental and Dravidian art. Evening, visit the Devraja market. |
Day 03 :- Mysore / Madumalai National Park: Departure for the Madumalai national reserve. Installation at your hotel. Then departure for a safari in the afternoon to visit the flora and fauna. |
Day 04 :- Madumalai National Park / Ooty: Departure for morning safari and return to the hotel for breakfast. Departure for Ooty. Settling in Ooty. Visit to Ooty: visit the botanical gardens, St Stephen’s Church. Evening, visit the Ooty markets. |
Day 05 :- Ooty: Departure for a hike with an English-speaking guide to discover the tea plantations, the rainforest and the villages of Nilgiris Mountains. |
Day 06 :- Ooty / Coonoor (by toy train 1h10 drive): In the morning transfer to Ooty railway station to take the Nilgiri Valley miniature train. This unusual journey on a small train will allow you to discover the superb landscapes of the Ketti valley, an intense moment during your trip to India. Settling at Coonoor. Then visit the English cemetery of Tiger Hill. Free evening in Coonoor. |
Day 07 :- Madurai Departure for Madurai. Installation at the hotel and then free time to rest after a long journey. Evening discovery of the city of Madurai, the ancient capital of the Chola kingdom of South India. . |
Day 08 :- Madurai Visit the Meenakshi temple, the temple of the fish-eyed goddess. Then visit the Tirumalai Nayaks palace. Free evening. |
Day 09 :- Madurai / Munnar: Departure for Munnar. Settling in Munnar. Visit to the Tata Tea museum. Free evening at the hotel. |
Day 10 :- Munnar Departure for a hike to discover the tea and spice plantations up to the Pothamedu viewpoint and the Atthukad Falls. |

Day 11 :- Munnar / Kumarakom: Departure for Kumarokam. Settling at Kumarokam. Departure for a visit to the Kumarokam Ornithological Reserve. Free evening at Kumarokam. |
Day 12 :-Kumarakom Boarding the houseboat. Navigation on the backwater canals and discovery of the surrounding villages. It is a must-see for a trip to South India. |
Day 13 :- Kumarokam / Cochin: Departure for Cochin. Settling at Fort Kochi. In the afternoon, visit the Dutch palace. In the evening, Kathakali dance show then discovery of the Fort Kochi district. |
Day 14 :- Cochin Visit to the synagogue and the Jewish quarter. Visit to the Saint-François church dedicated to Vasco da Gama and the basilica. In the evening, walk to the tip of Fort Kochi to visit the immense Chinese fishing nets. |
Day 15 :- Cochin Transfer to Cochin International Airport for your return flight . |

The Kerala backwaters is the rather unappealing name given to the peaceful and picturesque palm-lined network of lagoons, lakes, rivers, and canals that run inland from the coast of Kerala, from Kochi (Cochin) to Kollam (Quilon) in India. The main entry point, situated between Kochi and Kollam, is Alleppey (Alappuzha)
